We are thrilled to introduce the latest update of our FJD AT2 Auto Steer System, version 23.103.2. This update is packed with exciting new features and improvements that increase the efficiency of your precision farming efforts. Let's delve into the exciting enhancements this new version offers and how they can significantly impact your farming practices for the better.

What's new in FJD AT2 Auto Steer System V23.103.2

Features

1. Updated Guidance Lines

  • Headland: Generate guidance lines based on the boundary shape, allowing users to select either the entire boundary or specific segments as the guidance line.

  • Diagonal Harrowing: Generate optimal paths for efficient and thorough harrowing operations. Users can choose the desired number of turning points to determine the frequency of turns as the vehicle moves from one end of the field to the other.

  • Tramline: Generate tramlines on the current guidance lines to create parallel tracks with unplanted spaces for spraying operations. AB lines, A+ lines, and curves are supported. When using the Basic U-turn, the vehicle automatically moves to the next adjacent tramline after completing a row. Tramline cannot be used simultaneously with Smart U-turn.

2. Support for ISOBUS Virtual Terminal (Optional)

The updated version expands AT2's ISOBUS capabilities by adding an AEF-certified ISOBUS Virtual Terminal (VT).

3. Common SOP for Troubleshooting

The diagnostics center now features a new Common SOP section that offers quick solutions to frequently encountered issues such as system settings, calibration, OTA, signal problems, and more. It supports precise searching, allowing users to quickly locate relevant information, take notes and mark important points.

4. Support for Easy Switch (Optional)

With the optional Easy Switch accessory, you can effortlessly toggle between manual and autosteering modes with just the press of a button. Catering to your preferences, the Easy Switch can be conveniently installed at a location of your choice within the tractor, ensuring accessibility and ease of use.

5. Updated Cellular Module

Click on the 4G signal icon in the status bar to access the cellular module homepage, which includes a cellular data switch, APN settings, SIM card ICCID display, and network diagnostics.

6. GNSS Status Print for Comprehensive Monitoring

Provide a skyplot to monitor the number and position of satellites in use and out of use, and check the type of correction signals currently in use, including network RTK, base station RTK, built-in Bluetooth RTK, external Bluetooth RTK, SBAS, BeiDou PPP, Galileo PPP, and RTX.

7. Added Speed Output (Optional)

By purchasing an additional cable harness, you can transmit the vehicle's speed information to your implement.

8. User Settings

  • The login interface now includes a new QR code login feature, allowing users to easily log in to their devices by scanning the code with the FJDynamics APP on their smartphones.
  • Add password reset and account logoff. The data related to an account will be cleared after the account is deleted.
  • Add device management function. The user who logs in/registers with the system for the first time will become the owner of the device. The owner can grant/revoke device usage authorization and unbind the device to protect their ownership rights.

Improvements

1. Correction Signal Sources

  • Added PPP: Support PPP correction signal sources, including BeiDou PPP and Galileo PPP. PPP technology provides decimeter accuracy without the need for a radio signal or network connection.
  • Auto Link Switch (ALS): Automatically switch to PPP when RTK signals are weak, ensuring that your work won't be interrupted by signal issues.

2. Wider Speed Range

With the Super Low Speed feature enabled, AT2 supports ultra-low speed operations from 0.1 km/h to 1 km/h, making it ideal for tasks such as mulching and onion planting that require slow speeds. When Accuracy Compensation is activated, it also supports high-speed operations up to 26 km/h, suitable for tasks like spraying.

3. Enhanced Basic U-turn (Optional)

We've updated the Basic U-turn feature with two new options for your convenience.

  • Single U-turn: Offer the flexibility to turn at any point within the field with a single click.
  • Uninterrupted U-turn: Allow for automatic turning at the end of rows without the need for manual operation, ensuring a seamless and continuous workflow.

4. Smart U-turn (Optional)

  • Optimized Edge Curvature: Reduce the remaining unworked area and increases the working area along regular guidance lines.

  • Prioritize planning boundaries closer to the vehicle.
  • Prompt users to decide whether to remove completed parts when detecting worked area within the assigned task.

5. Task Management

  • Manage your fields, boundaries, tasks, and guidance lines with ease through fuzzy searches and batch deletions.
  • The minimum distance required to mark headlands has been reduced to 5 meters.
  • Users can assign the same names to different client farms, fields within a farm, and guidance lines, boundaries, or tasks within a field.

6. Manual Intervention

Support the intervention force and duration adjustments. Greater intervention forces require more force to pause automatic steering by holding the steering wheel, while longer intervention times increase the time needed to trigger manual intervention.

7. User Interface Optimization

  • Update vehicle models and add new models for tractors, planters, sprayers, and harvesters.
  • Adjust the implement's display position according to its working width and offset.
  • Add an explanation for the skip and overlap in the implement parameters setting.

8. Guidance Line Optimization

  • Guidance line translation: Use the nearest guidance line as the reference for offsetting when shifting guidance lines to the current postion.
  • Line group: Display offset value during manual operation, and save orignial guidance line before any translation.
  • Curves: Easily move curves to the current position, with a new length limit of 10m for creating curves.

9. NMEA

Add GSA information which displays current satellite information.

10. GIS

  • Recognize Topcon and Trimble AGGPS information like field, farm, and farm owner.
Simplify the process of importing shapefile line group, eliminating the need for additional software.
  • Increase GIS-shapefile compatibility with additional fields.

11. Implement and Vehicle Library

  • Parameter settings are accurate down to the millimeter.
  • Update the last modified timestamp upon addition, deletion, modification, or selection of items.
  • Allow for identical names from different sources.

12. OTA

Update descriptions are now included in the matching system language. If a match is not found, the descriptions will still be displayed in English.
