FJDynamics Launches a New Precision Spraying Autosteering System to Boost Accuracy and Efficiency in Agricultural Spraying

SINGAPORE, August 2, 2024 — FJDynamics, a globally leading provider of precision agriculture solutions, officially announces its new FJD ATS Precision Spray Autosteering System to be available worldwide today. Driven by the autosteering mechanism, the ATS enhances accuracy and efficiency for spraying operations on challenging terrains, delivering precise application control and environment-friendly agrochemical use for crop protection in the agriculture industry.

FJD ATS Precision Spray Autosteering System

"Integrating our strength in autosteering for tractors, we design the FJD ATS Precision Spray Autosteering System to revolutionize the way farmers spray pesticides for their crops, bringing exact treatment to every part of the cropland," said Bert Wang, Director of FJD Precision Spraying. In the farming world where every drop of spray matters, the ATS stands as a testament to the future of precision spraying. This innovative system offers an arsenal of practical features that outperforms its counterparts.

Precise Spraying Driven by Autosteering: No Terrain Woe

Built on top of FJD's time-tested autosteering technology, the ATS is making its way into the field of crop protection with the legacy of precision, allowing farmers to achieve accurate application control by seamlessly integrating into most sprayer models, self-propelled, mounted, or trailed. Whether on rugged or irregular terrains, the system enables vehicles to spray precisely while automatically steering at desired courses through advanced navigation technology.

"Traditional sprayers are notorious for overlaps or skips, and they often can't follow a straight line or predetermined path on an uneven farmland to ensure constant spraying in each pass," said Wang. "That's why our ATS utilizes navigation for autosteering to hit the target just right, saving over 10% on agrochemicals compared with the traditional way of agricultural spraying".

Through smart path planning, the ATS achieves 2.5cm accurate row spacing to minimize overlaps or skips, and it shows no compromise in spraying precision even when a tractor drives at a speed of up to 26km/h, without inaccuracies that lead to crop damage or misuse of inputs. By reusing previous paths for recurring tasks, this system drives home the idea that precision agriculture promises more accuracy and efficiency than expected.

Real-Time Section and Rate Flow Control: No Waste Fret

Integrating automation directly into its operational framework, the ATS automates sprayer sections on and off as a tractor enters or exits worked areas. This automation is particularly effective in preventing unnecessary pesticide dispersal by stopping spray activity when the vehicle's speed falls below a preset value, especially at predefined boundaries such as headlands or field edges.

"For spraying operations, nothing annoys farmers more than imprecise section control, and this situation worsens when farmers have limited resources to spare," explained Wang. "Our ATS reduces such waste by automating section control". Plus, with overlap rates customizable for optimal coverage, the system substantially contributes to the optimization of chemical use and compliance with chemical residue standards.

Another layer of precision assurance comes from the system's ability in real-time flow rate regulation to perfectly sync with the changing field conditions. This adaptability means that farmers can maintain optimal operational parameters and respond dynamically to any situation. Based on those operational speed variations, they can adjust spray volume for consistent application in each unit area.

Intuitive Control Terminal: No Operation Hassle

As usual, FJD's new production shows its steadfast advocacy for convenience and simplicity, a core value deeply rooted in its design philosophy. "The ATS is also backed by the same level of ease of use that farmers have grown to rely on with the FJD technology. It boosts operational efficiency by over 10% compared to manual methods," assured Wang. The ATS offers a one-touch transition between manual, semi-auto, and automatic spray modes on auto section and flow control, allowing farmers to have their preferred mode for the task at hand.

In addition to the all-in-one package, FJD's precision spraying solutions also offer two other options to flexibly meet farmers' needs: ATS-C Precision Sprayer Controller for integrated valves from brands like ARAG and GEOline, and ATS-V Precision Spray System for farmers who already use the FJD AT1/AT2 autosteering systems.
